We’re building a guest house.

Before construction it was an empty corner of the back yard.

Rain delayed the building of the foundation for weeks.

The scaffolding for the roof was hand built.

The HVAC people installed the duct work.

Next the wallboard went up, and the place really started to take shape.

After that, the interior painting got started.

We also needed to complete the back yard fencing.

We buried all of the utilities, so that means we converted our yard into a moonscape.

Then conduit, gas and water pipes were installed and power lines were pulled.

After the pipes go in, the backfill process begins.

Daddy built the kitchen cabinets. If we ever have a tornado, we should climb inside.
