Guest House Construction - Part III

The scaffolding for the roof was hand built.

After testing the cut of the first pair of roof rafters the rest went up very swiftly,…

…and the OSB sheathing was put up.

Styrofoam air infiltration prevention house wrap went on next.

The cathedral-like space was created due to the lack of interior partition walls.

I had to cut a hole in the wrap to take the last two pictures.

It snowed twice during construction. The first time was the day after Christmas.

Before the year ended, the electrical wiring started going in.

At first we were going to put two ceiling fans in the main room, but later it was changed to one.

We’re going to need to build the porch soon.
