The blocks on the wall and the tape on the floor are the first steps toward creating the kitchen cabinets.
The air return for the A/C system is inside the end of the peninsula.
The top goes on the sink cabinet.
There is extra reinforcement on the peninsula cabinet for the cantilevered countertop.
I shot a couple tubes of liquid nails in the air chamber to seal it.
These cabinets are so overbuilt you couldn't blow them up with a stick of dynamite.
The outlet is for an uninterruptible power supply.
