Our Construction Project
We began construction about a month ago on our garage space. Here are a few photos from the roller coaster like ride that we are currently enjoying . . .
But first, a raz from Grace . . .
Before the work began we had a garage with 70's yellow brick vinyl on the floor. The garage doors were already filled in with sash windows and a "french" patio door. The light from the two south facing windows was blocked by a partition wall creating a laundry room with alot of wasted space. The space was not airconditioned or insulated and it had dark brown 1/4" wood paneling with vinyl trim.
After the work is done, we will have a medium sized family room, a laundry room, and a much needed half bath. The entire room is now well lit due to the opening of the southern exposure, and it will be insulated and airconditioned when it's finished.
The new step is large and serves bathroom, laundry and kitchen, eliminating two other places to step up . . .
